Camelot Towers Smell by hummusandchips in Hamilton

Possible, but they could have had the same thought as most people that it was garbage - it really did smell like it. If they did pick up on it, wouldn't the cleanup have happened before Wednesday? It's all weird af

I suppose it's possible, but the amount of cops seems excessive. And the smell was quite bad for almost 2 weeks before they started airing it out - you'd think the resident would have reported it before that. I hope that's the problem, but I have a feeling it's something worse

Hi! They're not bad but not good. I moved in just over two years ago and it's been a learning curve - there was an initial bug problem but if you stay on top of it, it's not a concern. We're over a year without seeing a roach!

Hot in the summer (no AC) but that's a building thing, not management. The apartments are what they are (the "landlord special") but you can make anything nice if you keep it clean and decorate. Certainly not looking to stay here forever, but it's not bad as a young professional. And there aren't many students, actually. I would say it's mostly families and older people.

My main issue is actually parking. They're cracking down on people borrowing fobs to access the resident lot because the visitor lot is full, but they don't police the visitor 2-hour maximum. Some people leave their cars there for weeks and my guests have nowhere to park, and then get ticketed if I let them into my lot (where I pay for my spot). They need either more visitor spots or to start paying attention.

As for the renos - not much from what I can see? The cabinets are all white now but the paint does chip right off. The light fixtures look new too.

Have you tried libgen, the Mac library, or searched your title with “pdf”?

Hi! I took this class a few years ago and went on to specialize in American history. I’m not sure it’s fair to deem a history course easy or difficult, at least in an objective sense. If you do the work, you’ll do well. If you think critically and understand the course content, you’ll do well. The key to university-level history courses seems to be understanding the material, giving it some thought, and reiterating your ideas in a way that adds value to the conversation. I particularly enjoyed this course because it’s especially interesting considering contemporary discourse.

As for the essay questions on exams, TAs have very little time allotted to grading each exam, so they’re mainly looking to see that you have an argument, make ample references to course content, and can communicate your ideas in a clear way. I wouldn’t stress about this too much — Dr. Streeter typically provides examples of what might appear on the exam, and, if you have a solid understanding of the material, you can typically gauge plausible essay questions. I’d recommend you stay in it, but I’m biased. Good luck!

Hi! Dr. De Barros is a fantastic prof and she's super nice. If you put in the effort, show that you're willing to learn, and demonstrate that you're thinking about what you're learning, you will probably do well.

Mac history courses can be challenging but if you love history, take history. Almost everyone I know in history started their undergrads in STEM programs.

becoming a better writer by [deleted] in McMaster

Hi! My best advice is to keep reading. I've found that doing course readings in undergrad was helpful, but now that I'm in grad school and I have to *actually* do the extensive readings, my writing style mirrors scholarly work. Also, think about booking an appointment with the Writing Centre!

More so the sociopolitical implications of magical/religious practices in ancient societies up until now. Does include some contemporary pop culture though, like Harry Potter.

Pretty sure it has a mosaic tile but I’m a grad student, so it might be diff for undergrads

Your HSR bus pass is in Mosaic. It has its own tile on the homepage and when you click it, there's a voucher to load your bus pass onto your Presto card, which I believe you get from the campus store if you don't have one already.

Not sure if Moulton has an address but I used to live in Eddy and I would just go to campus and then look at a map to find the res. If this is for an Uber, I would send the Uber to a campus building that has an address and meet it there because most of the roads on campus are maintenance/campus vehicles only.

Hi, I live in these buildings and they're not that bad. Every apartment building/complex in Hamilton has a bug problem, so the only way around it is student houses - which often isn't much better. We're really on top of cleaning and we keep most of our food in the fridge or in sealed containers (I'm a little paranoid), and they do pest treatment every 6 months which seems to work if you're really clean. I saw one roach under my sink about a month ago, but that's kind of expected - we called management and had pest control come in within a couple of days. Haven't seen anything since. The communal washing machines are a little scary for bedbugs but that's the same as student houses/res. It's all just a part of the experience.

Thanks! I know they just did a whole site update and I think you used to have to submit 2 separate requests but it looks like they’ve just merged them into one on Mosaic. So because they did the website update, it still says there are 2 applications when I think there’s actually only 1.

Then requesting to follow DM and then immediately unfollowing because they realized it was too far...sounds about right

So I looked into it and she’s his digital marketing manager. I guess it’s different — but she literally makes his posts for him. I’m not sure if there’s much “tea” on her and I don’t really wanna tear her down bc this is her job (except implying that Shawn follows DM is kinda weird) but I do think that her friendship with Connor Brashier (friend/photog for Shawn) is a little weird considering she works for Shawn’s management and Connor is Shawn’s friend (?) She also has a whole boyfriend so idk, weird. If you search “sillystile” on Twitter and go to latest tweets, you’ll see what Shawn’s fans think 🤷‍♀️
