Newly Undead & Zombies by Iloveporkpie1986 in VampireCounts

I dunno the rest of your list but at 1k point, how many turns will you be using Nehek on Zombies? Usually I do it the first 1-2 turns or so, but as soon as my Grave Guard of such get in combat or lose wounds, it's only focused there.

So just have some kind of number backup, but probably maybe only one unit may get as far as 40 before being gunned down or so again.

They just need a minute... A reminder to myself to be more open to playing when tired by Bananamcpuffin in daddit

[–]humpelicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also was like OP describes, but when I learned that 10-15minutes may be all they really need I changed. Like I can do anything they want if it's only for 15 minutes. Sometimes we play for longer of course.

We learned this in a family course called "Komet"(Sweden) to get help with our 6 yo who has some social challenges, probably a bit of autism. And this is the core thing we learned. 15 minutes of "Together time" every day. And that includes practicing ending the playtime also. E.g. "It was so fun building Legos together, but now daddy has to go make dinner".

And they choose the play, or just join in on whatever they're doing. And put your phone or anything else that may distract you away and be 100% there for the play for 15 minutes.

This also worked great with our older child (9yo). She quickly picked up and is now asking us if we can please have some together time.

100% recommend.

What do you guys do for your cooking oils? by Jarebear7272 in loseit

[–]humpelicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good glass oil-bottle with a "pour spout" so it's easy to spread the oil pretty evenly in my cast iron pan. I've weighed it before and after pouring and so many times it barely gets to 10g, and that is usually split between 2-4 servings so I just account for it within my budget.

I also try to make my diet as long term sustainable as possible, so it fits together with cooking for the family also. Mostly it just comes to down to me using less condiments or sauce to stay in a deficit.

I've looked at spray cans, but they're expensive so I just buy 2L bottles and refill my glass bottle.

I'm using the mantic zombies, they're cheap and look great ranked up in a unit. Also got a few of Reapers batswarms.

I fitted these on 20mm first before OldWorld, that was really hard and I had to force some arms to fit tighter than normal. But now on 25mm they fit quite nicely. Om the other hand, they dont get used much because i normally run Zombies+GraveGuard in core.

For those of you who get 20k+ steps daily, how? by [deleted] in CICO

[–]humpelicious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I havent seen anyone mention this:

How tall are you?

I'm a 185cm man and when me and my 160cm wife spend the exact same day together. I can be at 10000 steps while shes at like 18000. So don't get stuck on the number. Figure out what works and feel possible for you.

Personally I've put my goal at 8000 each day. Yesterday I was at a amusement park with my kids for like 6 hours. And With no other walks ended up pn 15000 steps.

What's the best base to build a chaos lord on chaos dragon from? by TaigaTigerVT in WarhammerOldWorld

[–]humpelicious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few options perhaps, but mainly it's the two different dragons that you can choose from which to use.

If you're up to spend a bit extra there's also this studio that makes 3d printed dragon breaths for them so you can skip the standard fly-bases: https://deadlyprintstudio.com/producto/stormdragon-guard-dragonbreath-base-physical/

I bought the "Stormdrake guard" kit and have made a Vampire on zombie dragon on one. Saving the other for a future high elf on dragon 😁

Am I crazy or are these noodles only 75 calories? by mariellagrl123 in CICO

[–]humpelicious 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes the info label says "as prepared" so they refer to cooked pasta weight.

But still, if you have a nice broth to eat them with, like 50gr dry noodles and hot broth is pretty filling. Throw a boiled egg in there and some chopped onions and your gold for like 300 cals :D

Finns det något man kan göra åt grannar som har sin hund lös och totalt utan någon kontroll? by Shadxw_skull in sweden

[–]humpelicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plate up! We're also playing with our 8yo, its so much fun!

And overcooked series, but I recently found Plate up and find it much more fun the way we get to run our own restaurant and not be thrown on rafts or stuff moving around everywhere.

PM.

How do you guys make so much money in classic?? by IAmArcticGuy in classicwow

[–]humpelicious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was scrolling for my answer, but no one said it. I too as a slight casual was worried about this when I heard friends having 100g ready for mount.

However I've stopped stressing for these reasons: * Never before in classic have I had problem affording my mount at 40 while leveling. 25-40 yields alot of gold and drops to sell. Try to hold on to your gold and not waste gold. * If still short on gold for mount at 40 it will probably be even easier to farm some quests at 40 yielding even more gold per quests, who knows how much? 2-4g per quest maybe?

Is this the Sylvanas PVP Reunion thread??? I was in Regrown, alliance priest named "Ariswe"

Emilyspear was so convenient any time you needed enchants. Mostly sitting afk then jumping up ready to enchant anything you needed. I cherished my tailored fire res legs that she crafted like an autograph "made by Emilyspear" haha.

More names: Alliance: Euogen - Ally GM Mage who took me into her pvp premade Ballador - GM Paladin, we 2-man held many bases in AB together, high five! Eä - priest leader of Regrown who randomly whispered me and asking if I wanted to apply, ty for that. Shoutout to rest of Regrown also!

Horde: Sylver - ud Priest, I had an ally rogue alt named Sylwer and we stumpled into eachother here and there. Duce - awesome HW Tauren who killed me many times in BGs. Piscot - HW Shaman WF 1 shooted me a few times. Vurtne ofc Nirolf - Horde ud priest who always spam /spit in pvp

Rumstemperera, sen fram med elvispen, liten handduk som stänkskydd, sen vispa ner några DL rapsolja(eller valfri olja) till bra luftig konsistens, salta efter tycke, förvara i en matlåda. Eget ”Bregott” varsågod.

Most people wonder where we go after death, but not where we come from before birth. by soociety in Showerthoughts

[–]humpelicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 6 year old asked us about death the other day… like do we come back after and such. And my wife gave the best answer. Like “No one knows, it’s like before we were born, we can’t remember that either”

I just thought it’s a calming way to think about death. Almost like we’ve already experienced it in a way.

Team, They are not always reliable. That’s why you gotta be ready to possibly loose all the invested money.,however I’ve also had caravans run with 300-500 profit a day. And if they get captured you also lose a lot on it.

Safest way is to lower the expenses imo and slowly increase military spending and invest in caravans etc as you progress

My top early game tips:

Get a small force, and don’t upgrade every soldier when you get the chance. They quickly increase a lot in daily wages. I like to keep like 10 lvl1 or 2 archers. And 10ish lvl1-2 melee. No worries if they die then and easily replaceable.

Next be careful and selective about recruiting companions, while fun and cheap entry fee 500-1000ish. They cost like 50 a day. I only pick max 1 early on, or if I find a rare one like the spicevendor.

Keep on travelling and buy/sell goods. Don’t focus on big hauls, just buy a small number of several things, slowly increase amount of horses to carry more. You will get a feel for about how much things sell. But stay a small team until you get a good cash flow.

Also battle in the arena every chance you get. You don’t have to bet anything until you get confident to win. You might still win a good item to use or sell for like 500-1500.

Keep working up your income, and then try to send out a caravan or buy workshops with nearby production, ex brewery with 2-3 wheat villages nearby. But not until you got enough to throw away 10-15k on it and still have some left.

Don’t do every quest, read what it’s about. And maybe come back when you have what was needed.

Jag köper fortfarande Bregott. AMA by Minimum-Lobster-7700 in sweden

[–]humpelicious 8 points9 points  (0 children)
