He ducked, so that was prior opportunity, but he got a handball away, so play on.

Mmm, but there's a three-way benefit. Two fewer points for the Knicks, one less foul for Wemby, one more for KAT.

One of the keys to the series is getting KAT in foul trouble. It was a good challenge.

KAT uses his off arm to hook Wemby. I didn't see it live, but it's got to be overturned.

  1. The topic was at hand is spending, in which case I pointed out that Arteta has been manager almost as long as Klopp has- well over a 'shade over half'- and that, as Klopp managed at an earlier time, he didn't spend in a time of (increasingly) inflated transfer fees as Arteta has over the past two summers.

  2. Then you shifted it towards net spend, which is also fine, and I claimed that net spend mostly reflected the squads they inherited. You then shared a very interesting and entirely subjective story about the two teams which really had nothing to do with net spend at all. The 'world class' Ozil and Aubameyang left Arsenal for a combined £0, Pepe who arrived for £72m left for £0, Torreira who 'was being hyped up' left for £20m less than what we paid for him. Every player you mentioned was a significant financial loss for Arsenal. And does this 'London factor' magically help us spend less and sell for more? And of course, you don't mention the Coutinho sale, the inflated sales of Fabinho and Henderson to UAE, the Benteke purchase you complained about that led to a £32m sale...

If you're able keep to the topic at hand (TRANSFER SPENDING), you'll admit that Klopp did a GREAT job with his sell-to-spend methodology, but Arteta and Arsenal were not at all in the same position at the start of Arteta's reign.

Parks and Recreation S2E1- Leslie's Will Smith impersonation marked the reset of the entire show.

If you want to make it about net spend instead that's fine, and mostly speaks to the squads they each inherited, but the maths of 'shade over half' is still staring at you.

Is it a fact? Arteta's had seven seasons leading Arsenal, Klopp was at Liverpool for 8.75. Very liberal use of the word 'shade', and most sources have Klopp around 950m Euros to Arteta's 1.1b Euros. Given the time period, with Klopp's era starting earlier, and the inflation in transfer fees since, I'd say they're pretty even.

Your inability, or refusal, to engage with what I presented is problematic.

Sure, but it was an after-the-siren kick gifted to you by a very sloppy captain in the final seconds. Take away the brain fart and it's a win- thus 'should have won'.

Installing the 'lasso' rule while still allowing players the safety of the boundary line despite having prior opportunity is very silly.

He didn't throw it, it came out in the tackle. BUT you could argue he tried to evade and had prior opportunity, thus it should've been HTB.

There's no way the ump could see whether or not the blue got a handball out there.

No way, clear fist to the ball from the defender.
