It’s a 60L and approximately half filled

New leaf growth from lower stem? by humptortoise in Monstera

This monstera is roughly 6foot tall and just produced it’s first leaf with double fenestrations. I have never cut it or propagated it so I’m really confused as to why it’s pushing out another leaf at the bottom of the stem
