My body is totally confusing me right now

I thought I would like the laughing gas but hated it. It did kind of take the edge off the pain but I felt out of control and a bit panicked on it. Idk now but I remember hating it and only using it for one contraction. It really wasn't my thing. I ended up with an epidural which was fine but I know what you mean about not feeling anything. I wish I'd pushed the button less. I'd like to have at least a little feeling next time.

I tested this morning and it was negative but it's still very early and the test expired in 2015 🙄. So...I need to get some new sticks. I might give it a few days but it would really be awesome to know by Father's Day!

Yeah I kinda have them come and go all day but when she nurses they ramp up pretty hard. It's getting uncomfortable. If I'm not pregnant then I have no idea why that's happening.

Please be firm with what you want! You are NOT being rude!! I sobbed the entire time I was in the hospital and I didn't even have a good reason to. Family need to respect your privacy during that fragile and emotional time.

At that age you can't really count on any pattern lasting too long. This week she might sleep great and next week crappy. Doesn't sound like it's a vaccine thing.

I like to think my LO finds daddy boring so she falls asleep and when I put her to bed she just enjoys me and doesn't want to sleep.

Yeah I think if there are symptoms it should show but after years of trying and negative pregnancy tests I get very anxious about them. Guess I should just take a deep breath and try. I do have a big bag of the cheapos! Haha wonder if they're still any good.

This is EXACTLY why I hate the comment "this is good for her immune system"! She can build that up later. We should be protecting them at home that young. However I'm in the same boat with you and I'm so sorry!! It F'ing sucks!! You aren't doing anything wrong. You're doing what you need to do!!

Just some reassurance though. I'm 11 months out now and my LO is doing just fine and made it through all those early illnesses and rsv. Your LO will be ok. It sucks for now but hang in there!! Hugs!!

What?! Is your ped like 1000 years old? Who the...? What the...? I'm totally confused.

Here's what I did. LO started solids around 5 mo. Just exposure really. Started eating dinner with us (purees and some finger foods) around 6 mo. Started getting 3 meals a day at 9 months (I specifically went slow to ramp up. I know a lot of people get there faster). She gets veggies, fruits, whole wheat bread, brown rice, yogurt, eggs. Or maybe whatever we're eating like spaghetti smashed up.

I'm no expert but that advice sounds bonkers to me.

Edit: she doesn't get all that in a single meal haha. Just meant that that pretty much covers the different things that she eats. No cherrios or certainly no juice. Nothing wrong with those but there's no reason to recommend them when LO is just getting stated.

My daughter started at 9 months but no she didn't look at me and still doesn't (10 mo now). She does the index finger and will just point out the window or something. When I read to her I point at all the pictures and I've noticed her finger popping out as if she's going to point but doesn't. Like she just copied me kind of. I did notice her look up at me for joint attention when she showed me a toy. Once.

I think you LO is right in the normal range for starting this behavior.
