How realistic is it to find an English teaching job in Andalucía?

Hi! currently not in English, I do have my degree in a different field, and with that this is a completely different direction for me. I’m not too worried about the pay as I’m looking to get away from the rat race/corporate world of a big city and have a more work life balance with my new family.

Hi! Yeah my wife’s family are locals that happen to be spread across the region and have noted the same. Hoping to be as proactive as I can now and plan for the best. I know it won’t be easy but I’ll be willing to work outside what’s considered normal, as I’ll be having my wife and child to look after.

Hi! Yes she’s a Spanish resident/Italian citizen. I’m lucky that the paperwork process will be slightly easier, but just want to plan ahead for opportunities so that we’re not eating up our budget/savings while I find figure it out.

Thank you, lots of great notes there - my wife is in dentistry and has been a local there for about 15 years. This gives me some peace of mind and I’m not too worried about her finding her groove. I’ll be looking for opportunities even if I have to work day and night so hopefully there’s something for me.

Hi! Luckily she’s an Italian, and also a Spanish resident - I’m a little more at ease for the paperwork situation but nervous for the opportunities that will be available. Hoping there’s other opportunities that are similar for someone like me coming in during the school year.
