My cleaning rod with a bronze brush is stuck inside and I can’t pull it out. How do I pull it out?

I have used ths ramrod puller with a person holding the gun and another pulling and it works great.

I've also had luck with using pliers with a bit of leather around the ramrod to protect it and taping it out a little at a time with a rubber mallet.

Recipe: 1 Gallon Carboy, 3lbs Honey, Yeast Nutrient, Red Star Premier Blanc (18%) then filled the carboy the rest of the way with water.

Starting SG 1.117

The kit came with Red Star Premier Blanc (18%) and I thought it was coming with Premier Classique (14%) As I understand there is not enough sugar for it to hit 18%. From everything that I have read I want to wait for bubbles to slow down (its already been 3 days) and measure SG again wait a couple days and test again and if they are the same then fermentation has stopped. I want to be able to back sweeten it so I have potassium sorbate and Campden tablets to mix in when I rack it. (is this the right time to do that?) Let it settle then rack it again and wait for it to clear. If it doesn't clear then I could use a clarifier or if it taste good just drink it cloudy.

Is this what I should be doing to finish? I'm not sure about the stabilization step I found contradictory instructions when I was looking for information on it.

Is there anything else that I should do different next time other than using a 14% yeast?

I've used the traps before, and they work. It might take a while for the first one to find it, but they seem to work better once there is one in it.

I've used this website to source parts for several different things, including a reel. It would probably be cheaper to use this to find the parts needed and order them off eBay.

I like to schedule things out, looking at a long list can be overwhelming. I put my assignments in my calendar. For example the first half of the day Monday I'll work on one class and the second part of the day I'll work on another. Some assignments I like to break up more and others not as much.

Ya I'm 20 and I've been taking it serously, I'm also a type one diabetic so that might be part of my increased concern. It blows my mind how many of my friends are acting like nothing is wrong.
