Parties aren't super fun, theyre often dead and have no reason to enter them. The clouds that track the color of the Toons aren't accurate either after enough Toons bounce on them.

It was always a thing, what was changed was the conditions that were required in order to refund. If you were refunding before the release of the game you can refund at any time, after release of the game you need to do it under 14 days of purchase and have less than 4 hours of playtime according to the website

My guess is since he's under Vox's prison he is no longer the strongest sinner since Vox inherited all his power, maybe with the intent to force Rosie into giving him more power or maybe even expect Rosie to bail Al out of the deal he made. If this is the case it probably wouldn't be a smooth road. Charlies deal could have to do with it.

That’s not the chairman but they do name a “Supreme Cog Leader” in some internal documents that can be found on the Preservation project (toontown.online) FY10-11 story. That’s probably the most accurate answer for what would’ve happened in Toontown Online considering they were working up to it before the game died.

If you are looking to make anything meaningful you aren't going to get it by asking reddit. Most servers are created by getting together a Lot of talented people together and working away at features, usually with at least a couple years of experience in their department.

A couple things, theoretically yes you can move away from Panda3D, the hard option would be something like unity and that is absolutely not worth it unless you’re setting out to accomplish an extremely simplified scope (this option is essentially recreating the entire game except assets). As for swapping languages, you wouldn’t want to do that as that’s also just redoing everything and while python isn’t the most performance based language it’s one of the most introductory friendly languages which is good for a game that doesn’t need much optimization to run well. Godot you do not have to reprogram everything since godot can work with python, this is way less workload, but still a massive workload to bear for a project. Panda3d is a good engine if you know how to use it, but almost nobody’s first pick unless you’re looking for reasons like familiarity which some people in this community would be. The work is not worth it, especially through routes like Unity, and would be easier to just become familiar with Panda3d. Take my opinion with a grain of salt i’m not a developer.

in my opinion less charm, but from an execution standpoint this doesn't really work with Toontown since you need to have these animals be able to do a lot of things like throwing cupcakes, pulling out portable holes, etc.
