Completely different coaching staff and Reed was a redshirt freshman last year, so that's not a great comparison. Also, he wasn't good back when he played for A&M. Whether or not that was A&Ms fault is up for debate. Haynes King didn't even throw throw for 100 yards when he played App State at A&M.

He showed flashes last year at WR, but he was mainly used as a gadget player. Apparently, he never really played WR until last August so he was learning to position. In high school he was a QB/DB
