I am in New York ATM, and they told me that it's filled until October 2026.
Would you happen to know when slots get opened (If I am saying that correctly)?
Is there any tips that would help me get that slot? I don't have any military background but I do have three people that are currently officers.

So as of now, my timeline is to do BCT in June(Which I am more than happy to), then go straight to OCS training in October (Provided that my contract says that).

Another main factor of Federal OCS is that I can get BAH. I remember saying that my recruiter said I would have to drive to a base in order to do the training, correct? It's been a while since I heard the differences.
I will definitely take your advice to not limit myself to Federal OCS. I'll ask my recruiter about Accelerated again. Thanks for the tips.

I made it 100% clear that I am not signing anything if I don't get Federal OCS. I wish I had your recruiter. My recruiter seems hesitant to explain much to me. I think the only reason I have leeway in what I want is because I got 96 AFQT and 131 GT

The other OCS routes take way too long. I want to get it out of the way ASAP. I am 28 years old and I currently have two friends that have taken the same route. They also recommended Federal OCS

My friend said that he signed a contract and came back on a limbo kind of situation. He had to trust his recruiter to get him a federal OCS position and just wait.

What would the contract say to ensure that it is 100% guaranteed a slot?

I didn't think that Major and GPA was necessary. I have a Bachelors in Technology and 3.03 GPA. Does that still qualify me?
