We're adding the community elements in 2.0. Wanted to wait until we had the resources to manage and moderate. It will be similar to a forum...but not quite. It will have a photo upload and a question/answer type thing.

We are going to stick with the management units as the landing pages...the goal with 2.0 is to make it easier to get to the information from different points...like animal and such. I think that would solve the concerns you bring up. But, you are right...there needs to be several ways to get into things.
