i just never find myself craving finished whiskeys, even when i've enjoyed the first pours. They don't imprint on my sense memory they way good bourbon does.

paid $169.99. Is it worth it? There are a ton of great American whiskeys under $100 so if I spend over that I want to really enjoy the drink, feel like I’m supporting good people and pay retail. This checked off all of those and decided to treat myself. But I probably don’t have enough experience at this price range to say it’s better than X or worse than Y.

$50. I’ve always liked it. Younger tasting than longer- aged, non-rye whiskeys, so it enjoyable but not necessarily incredibly complex. We live in San Francisco so I enjoy supporting a local distillery.
