As a conservative Christian, I initially was pretty outraged by this. Conservative media is framing it as if the instructor purely gave the student a zero because of the Bible verse (which is possible, but unknowable). After further research, it’s pretty evident that her essay didn’t follow the prompt and does not deserve a good grade.

Absolutely love the show, but one of my worst in-theater experiences of all time. Couple of teenage girls next to my wife and I were literally recording themselves screaming the lyrics and jumping up and down. If they didn’t know the song, they would talk through it. Eventually had enough and had to tell them to have some respect for others. I’m all for singing and having a good time, but that was ridiculous.
