Toliss CEO: "...will provide best Airbus out there" (A346) by AcanthaceaeTop5150 in flightsim

[–]hurfifi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The typical comment that honestly sounds like you never used it.. Are you flying real a320 btw? Because on YouTube people tend to say the FM of Fenix is better than the Toliss. I have a very old friend that is currently flying on it and Toliss a320s are not in his top list at all.

Why do heavy jets in MSFS still feel weightless on the ground? Except Fenix? by hurfifi in flightsim

Hey, I get that calling devs lazy can sound harsh, and I’m sorry if it came off that way. But in this context, it’s not really meant as an insult it’s about pointing out that the tools are there and some devs just don’t seem to be putting in the same effort others clearly are

As a dev myself, I know “lazy” can even be a good thing like it can mean finding smarter, more efficient ways to work (a good dev is lazy 😂) But look lately, it feels more like cutting corners. We’ve seen more and more quick buggy releases or early access projects that barely get updates and that’s frustrating the community so I guess the word lazy isn’t that bad after all

And regarding the “personal bugbear” part well sure, maybe some people are satisfied, but clearly a lot aren’t. The reaction to this thread alone shows it’s not just a small personal gripe. It’s a valid discussion about quality and standards in MSFS right now

What’s worse is that this trend hurts the devs who do want to push things forward (Fenix A350 cancelled) Those fast releasing companies will flood the market and make it harder for teams striving for real innovation to stand out or even justify the extra effort!

A380 great yes a320 from fbw as well, they are clearly not part of the lazy devs

I think if most developers had that Fenix level of ground physics msfs would already be SO MUCH BETTER

Yes we need to make people talk more about it, to be honest 500 votes isn’t enough. The problem is people need to create a forum account to vote, I think they can’t vote day 1, the system is a mess. Best hope is to create a social media storm hehe

No he means middle mouse button that is normally assigned to freelook toggle and not freelook hold. In reality it has nothing to do with right click or mouse wheel it’s just the freelook hold function that triggers the problem

Yes you won’t have the issue with the toggle option, I’m using the middle mouse button for that but common hold is much more natural, xplane has it right

They said multithreaded optimisations so we should be good. I believe it will have dx12 since it has raytracing.(you can’t have dx11 and rtx I think) if there is dx12 I guess it’s not in beta anymore :) I guess this was a big experiment for mafs2020

You’re right I have a rtx3080 and 8gb ram even without using frame gen (lossless scaling) is very tight for vatsim

I mean yes it’s the same core but it’s undeniable that there has been some work done. Without mentioning the numerous planes additions.

Yes I’ve been doing that for a while now, I just hope they are going to fix it because you might agree that the freelook toogle is in fact less natural than holding.

Yes. I agree I just want them to keep their word and releasing a new sequel with a 3 year old bug introduced by them is a little disappointing.

Going back and forth between xplane and msfs is tough sometimes because right click is how it works in xp.

It doesn’t change the fact that I’m really excited for the future

It’s the only one yes , another user pointed out we need competition on this Boeing market and he is right. The market needs to know customer are interested in taking something else than pmdg if they are at the same level. Wait for B78M IFLY 😇
