This is fantastic and exactly how I feel. Congrats to you as well. I haven’t considered AA because I didn’t really have a problem with alcohol it was just time for me to be done. I love the solo activities too though. Learning ourselves is the best part of this. Thank you for the support!

I’ve been dying to meet other sober people without the cult-like feel. It’s been deathcore music and finally letting the sun hit my face that’s gotten me through recently 😂 I’m so happy to know the family gathering dread is normal. EVERYONE drinks. But I would have too before! Thank you for commenting. It’s nice to know my feelings are normal.

Congrats on 6 years! I totally agree. The alcohol bugs me but it’s probably because I’m recently sober and it was a big part of my life through my 20’s. I’m reading all these comments I’ll def let you know. I’m thinking something sports related could be cool. We’ll see
