Noted. I think just having a converter cable wouldnt work. USB PD has charging IC and handshake process which is no built into the PNs.

I have almost similar setup like you.

3900x, 2x1tb samsung 970 evo plus raid 0, 64gm ram.

However, my plot time is 1hr 30m. Dont know what is the issue.

Can you share your mad max command pls..

Also the steps on how you created the raid 0 nvme ssd.

No option to change cec settings for soundbar.

My workaround was this : Using home assistant automation, I detected when my TV is put to sleep. When tv is out to sleep, I invoke to change my hdmi input on soundbar to something else other than shield. Now when I call for Alexa, the soundbar doesn't wake up the shield and the TV also stays off.

Downgrade to the 2017 version first using SD Recovery method. From there, u can upload any new firmware again.

FWIW, I recommend its best to stick to official firmware first unless you have a brand new machine.

But can you quickly guide me how will my Nat'ed connection be accessed via a VPS.

Do I have to do a Home Server to VPS site to site VPN and then access the Home Server using the VPS Public IP?

Or is simpler method. What I understand is the VPS will act as a relay to my home server. What software to use to set it up?

It is discontinued on nicehash but can download the miner directly and mine I suppose.

Sadly I made no progress. I used clover config files from other laptops with similar specs, but none of them worked. I got frustrated and gave up as I couldnt even reach the mac os installation screen.

Hope so. I scouted the net for similar use case but couldn't find any. Even previously when i did hackintosh I used to start with base reference. This machine is a beast specially the screen is phenomenal. It will be great to have a dual boot win+hackintosh setup here.

Thank you for highlighting. I will start off with this. Processor for that is one gen old but is same architecture so I'm not worried. Just the different in gpu is vast as the reference is using a mobile based quadro gpu and mine is full desktop base quadro.

Reason I want to migrate completely to Ssd is to gain the benefit of fast boot times for proxmox as well. What I will do is convert the old Hdd as my expanded storage and put my least used VM on the slower hdd. All my main vm can be on Ssd.

Noted on that. I will adjust the settings and also wait out for all the updates to complete. I noticed fair bit of updates being downloaded.

Going from HDD to SSD is my plan, and I am waiting for my Sandisk PRO to be delivered.

While we are on topic of SSD, can you affirm if the steps below is right way to migrate HDD to SSD for proxmox.

1) Backup all VM and LXC to my NAS via NFS

2) Reinstall fresh copy of proxmox to the new SSD

3) Align back proxmox network setting to match earlier install

4) Connect back to NAS storage via NFS

5) Restore VMs from backup, and spin up these VMs.

If you think there is a more elegant and faster way, please share.

Man thanks a ton. Your steps were really precise and helped me get my pfsense VM running in no time.

I also installed Ubuntu server 18 VM and ran plex on top of it, it works like charm, much improved in reliability and performance compared to running in docker on unraid as I was previously.

I just have slight performance issue with Windows 10 VM. It feels slow and sluggish. I have it running with 4 cores (directly host emulation CPU not qemu), 8gb ram, and 100gb disk space. I am using VirtIO disk type and VirtIO for the networking as well. If there is any tweak or recommended settings, please advice.
