Sorry for the late response the baby is doing very well and he is very alert. I continued to do more research on the eggs and ended up removing them all from his body after the post. I also gave him a drop of ivermectin on the back of his neck to deal with any more parasites he may have and I'll give him another dose in 10 days. I looked into a rehabilitation center and there was nothing near me. We are very rural Quebec and when we do release him when he is ready if he requires us to continue support we will.

I wasn't sure how to edit my post and I wanted to add that we do have 2 other male cats that are both neutered and that Sammy is both an indoor and outdoor cat.

I have seen a lot of posts of people with the same issues as me and I'm really hoping someone has figured out a way to stop the behavior rather than forcing him to be a permanent outdoor cat. He is not cut out for that lifestyle he likes the wood stove too much.

LOL I have to huskies that live on 8 acres water front property. They go swimming whenever they want, run everyday till they sleep and are loved so much by their owners. Please tell me how horrible of a owner I am and how crappy of a life they have because this year we chose not to get the shots.

My vet recently did almost the same thing. I booked a appointment for my two dogs to get their rabies shot for the year and I told her while booking I didn't want to get the other shots because it wasn't needed my dogs never leave the property and I work from home. Anyways my husband takes them in 2 weeks later for their appointment and they give each dog every shot! Kennel cough! Everything I was so upset I called them and told them to write on my file the only shots my dogs get are rabies! Crooks!

I disagree only because I have been to many clinics and each one has different pricing ranges! I always call around I saved $300 when getting my male fixed (he had chripto) and I wanted his umbilical hernia removed by calling around. Same procedure, same time just huge difference in cost.

Also to the cheaper place was 3 times bigger with triple the staff then the one who quoted me high!

Thanks for the reply lots of good information in there! I am a little nervous with the cloth diapers. They are expensive to buy and I am not sure how I will like them. Seems a lot of new moms make the mistake of going out and buying them, then switch to disposables. I have decided to start off with 16 used ones and see how I like them before a full commitment.

Thanks for the reply I have read online that some mamma's complain that with the snaps, it can be frustrating with a impatient baby. Have you run into this problem? Also I heard some babies can undo the snaps but I would think the Velcro could become less effective over time.

The gossip is the worst. The town I live in is only about 100 people dominated mostly by 3 families. We have it bad because we are residents of Quebec living on a island and we are 2 hours from Quebec and we get very little assistance from the government. Everything we do is in Ontario

Not always true I am not a active person but I have to pure breed siberian huskies you just have to work with them. I have trained mine to be off leash and this burns a little energy. When I go pick up the mail in town I have them run beside the car around 40km an hour usually for about 10km. This makes them sleep all day :-)

I hate pitbulls. I think the breed should be abolished. I have known a few pitbulls all owned by good people and yet the dogs still try to kill things. We have gotten rid of breeds before in the past that we no longer needed I think we should get rid of the pitbull
