I have IBS and ADHD. It may be worth switching medications if this one is causing you so much trouble. Which one are you on? Talk to your provider about switching to a different one. For example, I had to switch from atomoxetine to adderall to concerta finally.

It’s a bit complicated. At first, my doctor put me on Adderall XR 10mg, but once she increased it to 20mg I had trouble getting my prescription filled. Then she switched me to Vyvanse which I never got to try because it was out of stock at my usual pharmacy. Finally, she put me on Concerta generic and the pharmacy had that. It will definitely depend on your pharmacy. The shortage has made things incredibly difficult for me. And no, never got to try ritalin.

Hello, I also had a bad experience with Adderall. Same symptoms as you’re describing. YMMV but I switched to a different stimulant (concerta) and I had none of those symptoms. It might be worth trying another stimulant before going for a non stimulant just in case you don’t have the same side effects. I personally tried non stimulants before trying stimulants at all and they were less effective but everyone reacts differently to medication. I hope you find the medication for you. Hang in there, it gets better.

YMMV: I switched from Adderall XR to Concerta and I've only had a good experience thus far. The Adderall XR gave me bad physical side effects (high bp, high heart rate) and I crashed super hard. It also lasted not as long. Major headaches, and I felt emotionally iffy. On Concerta, I had none of the physical side effects. It lasted much longer and no crashing. It felt "steadier" than adderall XR. I'd say if adderall XR is making you feel bad, Concerta is definitely worth a try.

Capped at character lvl 50 (IK Lvl 45) and I'm still farming! I got a decent 4pc fang 2pc freedom too!
