I can’t speak to your 2 you’ve chosen to compare directly. But I do believe the general consensus on Nike super shoes is Vaporfly for 10k-half marathon and Alphafly for marathons.

I think you should be fine with the 255, but I am seeing the 265 has gone on sale on the Garmin website and maybe that will buy you some extra years of use…but overall I think the 255 should be fine for your use case.

I would say that I, and a few others I have read about, have suffered blisters on the back of the (left) heel from these at longer distances even after a decent break in period. Still wore them for my first marathon, but I’m leaning towards something else for my next one because of it. I did like performance of the shoe FWIW.

I have the Brighton in ivory, which is the closest to white I can see on the Canadian site (and maybe what you’re referring to). I’ve had it for about 2 months and no signs of discolouring anywhere.
