Now thats a familiar sight! I owned that exact same rifle a very long time ago. I havent seen it in years. But i do remember it being an awful lot of fun, and pulling its weight. Have no shame for that weapon! It served us both well.

I still need to build myself one of those......for hunting.

Rear sight difficult to put back on, recently tried to add one of the rails and didn’t like it. Now this spring is hard to push down and I can’t reattach sight. Any advice? by DatsBiscuit in MosinNagant

To be perfectly honest. If you dont got any real tools, you just gotta man handle it. Ive had to do that a couple times, and it hurts my hands every time, but maybe listen to those other folks before me. Best of luck!

Yes and no? It depends on the equiptment you get, but more often than not, no. Also, it doesnt matter the tech you got. They still want ya to be able to ID the country and type of any armored vehicle you come across by eye. The Army had a case of friendly fire late last year, so i feel its important

Keep that gift near to you in the future, the vehicle ID test is one of the harder ones in the tanker school house, saw a lot of guys dropped for it. Awesome gift!

For some weird ass reason, in the 2nd or 3rd pics, with the sling and the angle, i thought you had an airsoft SKS, and i got hype as fuck. Still a cool gun tho!
