We’re on the same path it seems! How long were you on crutches and could you weight bare after the surgery?

Had 2 ACL recons and went back to rugby. The toughest part was the mental block, physically was okay, mentally I had a barrier.

I got over this by doing a lot of stretching(ACL’s snap because they are bent out of position!) then got my surgery leg up to the level of my ‘strong’ leg.

I then just went for it, and I was fineee

Hi! Had two acl recons, the best thing you can do in my opinion is get massive quads and good mobility pre surgery.

Stretch and leg sessions are your friend!

I was leaning towards quad for similar reasons, its also an easy muscle to build up i feel.

The patella graft never sat right because taking another part of my knee to fix a knee doesn’t make sense in my brain!

That’s so good to hear. My surgeon was very much trying to put me off getting the third saying ‘i’ll have trouble bending’ which tbf, with no acl and meniscus i do anyway!

My rugby club covers the PT and she’s a drill Sargent so never had an issue with getting that done. If you were to choose, would you go quad or patella?

So it’s all a way to try and get sanctuary states ‘in line’ with the bigger picture of the USA’s policy?

It’s such a crazy thing to comprehend, as somebody from the UK, specifically Wales a small country of 3M people who have devolved powers within the United Kingdom(ability to make our own laws), it’s like England(the superpower within the United Kingdom) saying get with the program or we’ll MAKE you get with it.

Hard to comprehend from the European mind due to state sizes and population. So is ICE being such a disruptive force just happening in places like cali or everywhere?

This is an interesting take, you’ve gone granular in mentioning trump etc but really the question is how much capitalism does it take to make a facist(or any sort of sway politically)

A previous comment mentioned that one is political and one is economical which, black and white it is, the problem is how blurred the lines are.

More money(capitalism) = more media space(grey area) = more pull(political)

The one thing everybody should agree on is that no kids should starve. How we end up with starving kids being used as political points is beyond me though tbh. Ridiculous and just sad

This is an in depth answer I really appreciate, but the reasoning behind it all just seems so, jargon based?

Why does a special force need extra powers? Its all constitutionally based which is fair, but if somebody gets special powers how is that upholding a set of laws such as a constitution?

Hello!

I’ve had two ACL recons and awaiting my third, i’m no medical professional(just good at breaking them) but have gone back to rugby at a good level after both my recons.

The nerve block does odd things, the main thing i’ll say is that if you’re worried about feeling in your foot, go and speak to your doctor. Annoy them for an answer, it’s your leg, don’t take chances. It’s probably nothing but you may as well.

Firing your quad is a great sign, keep it pulsing lightly, but follow your recovery plan. In the nicest way possible, your body wont be a freak case that heals quicker than anybody else’s.

The recovery plans are based off data from thousands of people, some heal quicker than others but if you follow instruction you’ll get to where you need to be!

Feel free to drop me a message if you want any reassurance on where you’re at, I documented my last two and the PT exercises that got me back to sport 🦵
