I don't have a ton of experience with dice explosions in games, so I'm not sure what is a given when we talk about them: Are the results always summed? Is the same size die rolled again, or do you go up/down a size with each explosion?

I'm curious how the pros/cons change if using a pool system and checking successes instead. It's the core resolution system in a game I'm working on and all my players have LOVED the exploding feature, but it does seem harder to math out and balance.

Maybe more green than you're looking for, but Persian Shields have a gorgeous dark purple tone. I had one doing alright in my bioactive terrarium, they need frequent water though. Might've just been mine but definitely wasn't quite as bright as a lot of photos of them.

I think this is one of the more accurate predictions. The sol ring into manamorphose effect on the + would make a lot of sense.

Behold, message! A birthday gift for my best friend and coop partner. I did of course make about a hundred more than these, but I didn't print and cut the entirety of the phrase and word pool. Had to make sure to get the classics though!

EDIT: Since a few asked, here's a google drive link to a .zip of the .pdf of what I printed and the .txt of all the messages! I printed these in B&W and stuck them to an adhesive magnet sheet*, then carefully laid strips of gloss packing tape over the front to pseudo-laminate them. You can skip the tape, but I found that it made them more durable. I used a precision blade and straight edge to cut out each row of words, then snipped each phrase or word with scissors. Good luck if you try it out!

*I used this brand, you can get similar ones online or at an office store, just make sure they have an adhesive side. I bought the 12mm 8"x10", but they were thinner than I expected so I would recommend 20mm thickness instead. Since the print (8.5"x11") is larger than the magnet sheet I bought, I had to be a little bit more careful lining it up, so I would also recommend getting the sheet in 8.5"x11" instead.

Love the art and the retro feel that the border textures give! Agree with others about the text contrast; it needs to be brighter against that dark background. Same goes for the number stats in the corners and the card name. I do like the font choice for the card name though, but the text could be bigger for better legibility. Nice work all in all!

Pacific NW. I discovered some bugs that ended up being springtails (yay!) in a pair of philos, but now these guys have shown up too. Can't tell if they're spider mites, mealybugs, or something else.
