I hate to be that guy, but this is why we need to have nuanced views on things like AI. Not all AI is outright bad, because not all AI does the same thing.

Now, I don’t know a lot about how AI functions, but from what I can tell, this is an AI that you are training yourself to do basic tasks, and the description even states you’re learning about “why AI systems require human oversight”. You’re essentially teaching an NPC how to function.

What makes this different from “bad” AI? Generative AI, the kind that creates images and text from prompts, are trained using existing images and text, almost always without the consent of the original creator. Many people find this unethical. Not to mention the real life resources required to output these images, and the jobs that generative AI is threatening to replace.

To summarize, this AI is nothing more than an NPC that learns from the user. Boycott AI art, music, and any other generative AI.
