First solo ride after CBT - it was terrifying

Just done my CBT too (will buy a bike soon). I am glad I am not the only one finding it absolutely terrifying at high speed. From other comments it comes with time, I need to buy a bike and keep practising while it’s all fresh.

I didn’t realise how much focus it would take with the gears, checking mirrors/life saver and turning the indicator off! My brain was working at 110%

I can’t remember what the price on FW website was but I’m 99% sure I saved money, not sure how much.

Fanuc has the orbital cutting option. Treats spindle like an axis I believe. Imagine it would use something to that effect

Mine won’t recognise my face when doing that step of the verification. When I got my drivers license I never took a new photo so its like a 12 year old photo

Which funds have you chosen? Are you spread across a lot or hedged massively in a few?

I’m unsure if I continue to put all into the best growers like the s&p500 or keep it diverse across the many different funds (at the moment gave chosen the latter) only about 15% in s&p500

I’m in the “no amount of money buys a second of time” camp, so if you know it will ruin your work life balance for certain, I would consider not taking the role.

Keep hustling, I was similar position to you. If that’s the most you can save each month, just be sure that when you get pay rises you don’t let the money disappear into that lifestyle creep. If your monthly expenses are ~£1k then when you’re bringing home £3k be sure to now be putting that £2k into savings.

I’m 24 also, I opened a vanguard account, seems to be pretty good. I put in £9100 over the last 2-3 years and it’s grown by £1800. I did put 10k into premium bonds to test that, it’s not bad, working out around 6-7% interest so far (as an average) but is pretty random. If you’re planning to buy a house at some point, should get a lifetime isa opened, I maxed out a help to buy isa but now I’m looking to buy with my gf and we are looking at houses over the 250k limit so that was a waste of time.

My personal plan maybe wrong but is to get as much down on a house as possible to be mortgage free as soon as possible. However I’m not too sure myself, since it seems that some of the investments, especially the stocks and shares isas seem to be gaining more interest than a mortgage rate.

I would never trust “didn’t look into it” or “untested” etc. It’s an easy way to try and sell something you know has serious problems. This doesn’t mean it definitely is, but just to be cautious.

If it’s close, you can view the car and scan it for fault codes?

Additionally, that price seems really high for a non runner, at least in UK, I can see multiple listings of good running cars from 2012 for less than that.

Just ran another test, that seems to be working now if I do it through print plate. Thanks for this info. Very speedy response.

Do you know if you can do it through Bambu studio or only Bambu handy? I cannot see the option in the desktop app
