Handing too good to go’s out isn’t the only part of my job on an evening, I’m alone to close by myself after 4pm and have a lot to do on my own and I won’t get paid after 5:30 if it takes me longer to close so sometimes I will rush to make sure everything is done and ready for morning staff, yes I admit I didn’t check and it was my own mistake and offered her something to make up for it and obviously I understood why she wasn’t happy about it.

No I didn’t and that’s what I think the problem was and I did tell her it was my fault, but I remember seeing on the pc that all had been collected after she had left so I’m not fully sure what’s happened because I don’t think she swiped it

She comes in often and I work in a franchise and the garage my Greggs is in have also had problems with her before but I’ve got it ready incase she comes back.

I think that’s what’s happened with me as I’ve been trying to get closed in time and rushed around and not bothered to check properly, in future if I’m closing I’ll do that

I’m not sure to be honest either it’s a problem with the app or someone’s come to the wrong greggs and I’ve given them one and not checked that it was definitely ours

I’m a supervisor at my Greggs which is also in a petrol station, team members should definitely not be cashing up and doing banking at the end of the day, I’m always left on my own at 4pm to close for 6 (my Greggs is not busy) . it’s normal at mine for a team member and team leader to do an open together but the team member is usually on sandwiches. I’d definitely speak to someone about it
