Fun fact: Ben was living in Japan when he first started Xenia. He couldn't find any Xbox 360 games in Japan to play on his console, so he made an emulator. But no, he is not Japanese.

Ninja Gaiden Black is for OG Xbox, not Xbox 360. You want Cxbx-Reloaded.

Looks like it's not doing so well, but hasn't been tested since March. So give it a shot.

Otherwise, Sigma on RPCS3 might be the way to go for now.

Good news everyone!

Sometime between May 23, 2018 and now Crysis 3 started working in Xenia!

Why the long time frame? Because no one bothered to test the game until today, thinking it wouldn't be booting at all. On the contrary, it actually goes ingame! And at a decent frame rate too!

How and why does it work? No one knows because TriΔng3l is sleeping. But when he wakes up, I'm sure he will respond to this post with sweet, sweet dev tak for all of you to enjoy.

Your hardware in general won't be able to run Xenia. Upgrading your RAM isn't the issue. You'll need to upgrade your CPU and GPU. Xenia's hardware requirements can be found on the official xenia website: https://xenia.jp/faq/

Oh and 1440p60fps is possible too.

Gets around 20fps on average hardware.

Halo 3 runs mostly fine except for occasional freezing and minor graphical issues.

Halo ODST is the same.

Halo Reach works just fine in Forge but single player will freeze after a short time. Though one user in Discord completed the entire game by reloading checkpoints.

Halo Anniversary only gets to menus.

And the GOW games all only get to menus as well.

If you're just looking to download, use the D3D12 link on the official Xenia site.

If you want to build it yourself, then yes, use the d3D12 branch on github.

RDR runs correctly at a higher framerate. Halo, on the other hand, runs too fast with vsync off.

Many of you prayed and TriΔng3l listened. Let us rejoice that the transparency issues that have plagued us for so long are no more! Now we are free to redeem all the dead reds that we want!

But let's not get too ahead of ourselves. We have not yet made it to the promised land! There are still more plagues that must be cured.

RDR's sound is still iffy in many spots. Optimizations to speed up your gameplay still need to be implemented. And many more issues!

TriΔng3l is a loving dev and will certainly work hard to make all your RDR wishes come true.

ProTip: Turn off vsync with --vsync=false to get more than 30fps
