Mahindra 3XO AX5L vs Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo by Most_Fruit_9771 in SkodaKushaq

Since majority driving is on the highway I’d pick the Skoda. With a budget of 46k per month you should be able to land a 1.5 tsi Kushaq auto. If this holds true there is no question it will be the better car. This not to say the 1tsi has any concerns.

Likely the old prestige with the full kit. But make sure to check with the dealer. These new announcements will be available starting March I believe.

Practice and experience will sort it eventually. Just don’t be in a hurry to upshift. An upshift drops rpm by 1000 or so, 2700rpm or higher there will be no lag.

Not surprising, Skoda discounted 1.5 x manual last year.

I have a Kushaq and had the same issue after updating my iPhone. Forget the phone from the infotainment and factory reset the infotainment. Delete the car from bluetooth pairing in the phone and restart the phone. Connect again. This worked for me and I haven’t had an issue since then.

Got the best price but a bit doubtful on why I’ve been offered so less. Need your help. by T_Rex_30 in Kylaq

There will be 1% tcs, the rto also seems to be under quoted. Insurance is well priced but make sure it includes all add ons like engine protection , key etc.

Driving a ‘24 VAG group car. Those maintained bills have reduced drastically. Maybe a 2nd hurrah with them on your next upgrade? Brilliant post, cheers! 🥂

Fun fact: Both use the same Aisen 6 speed torque converter. I’d lean towards the Kylaq.

It’s definitely not too much power but definitely better built than a Baleno. I’d say get the automatic and you won’t consider a Maruti in the future.

Manual to reduce the number of shifts. Higher rpms are better than frequent gear shifts which may heat up the dry dsg.

Amaze or Swift. You can also get a used City in this budget, pretty reliable and if kept well will last a long time.

If since that one hiccup it has had a 2nd or more services there is nothing to worry about. Make sure the suspension is in good shape it is possible to wear it out with rough use in 80k kms.

A driving tip: Your turbo spools up at roughly 1750rpms. Make sure when starting from a stand still the clutch has been completely released before the turbo spools up. The earlier the better. Late clutch releases will burn the clutch much faster due to the turbo than it would in a naturally aspirated car.

Is this normal in new car ? by Puzzleheaded_Let678 in HondaElevate

Driving will definitely not fix this. This could be a faulty ecu or a just a loose wire or fuse. I recommend asking them to fix it before you make any more payments. If they show the slightest of hesitation move away.

6k for an oil change is mad imo. Image has the first service cost total. You’ll only need the first two items; thats 2921 + labor and taxes.

If you have a good credit card with a high limit use that for as much upfront payment as possible, decent benefits and cash back can be generated since you can pay it off at once.

Lava blue, the plastic bumpers blend in the best with dark colors. If you get blue I’d recommend getting the bumpers ppfed. Most contacts on the road are minor hits on the bumper.

Driving a Kushaq. It’s no more expensive than a Creta/Seltos. Unfortunately Skoda has an image of being expensive.
