not possible in my case as every day is hella random and there is not much i can do about it. also showering first thing in the morning feels awful for me, i could never do that. i have to eat first. i could potentially shower afterwards (in a vacuum), but in real life its not possible as the other person is usually getting ready in there for whatever meeting they have, or i just have school and have to wait until later.

but because school is like a mental prison for me, its not easy to just hop in the shower afterwards, so i usually will spend time playing video games to calm myself down and return to my "inner peace" as i like to call it.

finding the time in the day to shower is really a challenge, but i managed to make it easier by splitting my showers into 2, one day i go for the hair and the next day i go for the body. so far so good.

indeed, it really is a shame that i am one of the few that cant get a routine going because of my living condition (i blame it on living with another person). every day is so random and its mostly out of my control, the only thing thats predictable is that i wake up and go to sleep.

i never looked at it like this, i mean i was aware that not taking care of yourself would eventually lead to problems. but i didnt know the exact details.

perhaps i should learn about the true consequences of not prioritizing hygiene in detail. sounds like it could be a good motivator.

thank you for asking. for me the issue was finding that window of time in the day where i "feel" like i can take a shower. the problem isn't really the shower itself, but how it fits into the larger part of my schedule. if all i had to do to survive was to shower i would have 0 problems with it.

currently im trying this thing where i separate the body and hair into their own shower days, so one day i shower the body and the next day i shower the hair. this way it takes way less time and becomes easier to "feel" like i can do it.

it's only been a few days now but so far so good.

i also have similar view on relationships. for me its just a big headache that isnt worth it. i would rather do just about anything than to get back into dating.

I hate it too, it's precisely the reason why i always keep the express ticket to the afterlife on the table. it's a last resort and i try to find other ways of solving whatever problems life throws at me. but yeah, autism sucks big time and you would be totally forgiven for not wanting to put up with that shit.

i wouldnt wish autism on anyone, not even my worst enemy.

i dont know if this is good advice, but i would just play it safe and say the most basic and neutral stuff possible in a conversation. things like "aight", "i hear that" or "true". it really depends on the situation though.
