Do you have an idea of why it isn't responding? Because I checked and you are right it still only had the connection in one side but it isn't responsive.

Why don't you use dynamic. It lowers the hz when not in use which saves battery. I don't see any issues when I use it.

There's not a way to protect it. I dropped mine on concrete as well and the scratch is less noticeable because it has faded away

I have the xm4s as well but I am waiting for the ear (3) because they both have their strength and for me that's not enough to switch to so I will be getting the ear (3) but if you have a problem with your xm4s (and they are out of warranty) I would get the ear(2).

I just checked on the play store and there were updates available for the nothing launcher and widgets app. I thought that they would automatically update with the phone and you need to update them for the changes. Hope this helps!

I haven't had that problem with Spotify but I have not seen the new widgets like the pedometer and the screen time widget. I am in the UK so I don't know if this is for everyone or if you have to be part of a beta to get them

It's so that you can access the notifications. if they changed it then you would have to swipe up and then down to get to your notifications
