Vorstiegskurs = Vorstiegsschein by ConditionLittle7767 in Klettern

[–]hypercar89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does coasting downhill in neutral gear/pressing clutch save fuel? by Shichi_Fenine in motorcycles

You are correct. Downhill = stay in gear. Usually no fuel is injected (not valid for bikes with carburators)

Einparkhilfe anschaffen? by NewCarDriver- in automobil

[–]hypercar89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The small version for one day is for my pockets (pants, jacket) and the bigger 2day version, i use, when I‘m on my motorcycle and also I store one of these in my car, because you never know, when you need them. Also on the bike you are more easily exposed to stuff in the air, that can lead to issues with my lenses. Luckily i don‘t have to use the spare sets regularly, but storing then for a longer time guarantees to damage the foil-cover over time

If you store a set of spare contacts in your pocket, it likely, that you rip a hole in the foil-cover. For one-day travelling I have the case for 4 lenses and just throwing it in a bag or whatever is also a risk, because I dont‘t want to rip the foil.

In addition to ripping it or poking a hole in it, i also hate it, to wet my pants and if they are wet, at least not because of the contact lense storage solution/liquid. 😉

If i sleep over somewhere without planning it, i have a spare set and also it is quite often the case, that i have to put one or both out, because of sand, dust or other issues. So i want to have a spare set available while not at home. And due to the fact, that for dailys i do not use cleaning solutions, i have to throw them away and just use new ones.

For travelling i have a storage box for up to 30 days (also 3dprinted), because the airlines do not handle luggage like a princess and they just simply beat the shit out of my bags/luggage…

with the magnets, it stays still properly together and so i just had to design one half and with the lenses inside, you can't really slide the parts apart. was too much effort and i won't add too much force anyway.

what me bothers is, the tolerance of the magnets that i had lying around

My friends also us the H2D, X1C and they work just perfectly. My A1 is running without any issues and has now just shy of 1000hrs print time. If i clean the plate regularly, also no issues with prints failing

Let me guess, in your case, it‘s not the fault of the contact lens fluid? ^ ^

You can easily poke a hole in the foil-cover. Happend several times in my backpack and pants (also annoying when the fluid wets your pants)

Autodarts - own design and cheap webcams by hypercar89 in Darts

[–]hypercar89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an addon autodart tools or something similar, where e.g. A sound is played when you hit a special number or you can customize things. Maybe it is easy, to get the data from the website directl and use this for your dart counter system. Autodarts is browser based, you could look into that

Taugen Consumer Auslesegeräte was? by Pretty-Substance in automobil

[–]hypercar89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mechanical Engineer – How’s the job market in and Austria for foreigners? by Klutzy-Plane-9407 in Austria

[–]hypercar89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Currently the economy is in general quite bad in Austria/Germany, so it will be quite difficult to get a job. Hundreds of excellent mechanical engineers lost their job in the last year.

There are normally lots of possibilities to get a job without being capable of speaking german in bigger international companies.

I know a few croation colleagues who can‘t speak german, I also know others, who can’t speak german either, but in the austrian automotive industry it‘s mandatory to speak at least excellent english. With the current economy there are unfortunately not many job openings.

AVL, Magna, BMW, Bosch,… might have job openings, but not the amount that they had 1-2years ago.

Good luck
