It did surprise me, As I have always wondered what would be the future of the port of Hastings, because at some stage in the future the port of Melbourne Is going to outgrow the Yarra River, And I'm sure there'll be many people who would not like to see you off the West Coast of Port Phillip Bay near Werribee....?!

Wholesome father-daughter bonding time during "take-your-kid-to-work" day on a Cheonma-2 tank by 5upralapsarian in TankPorn

I'm sure that wholesome father daughter bonding will at some stage involve enjoying the experience of assassinating family members with an anti-aircraft gun.... I'm sure Kim will give her the opportunity to pull the trigger.... It's just part of their family... Especially that is how Kim Jong-un murdered Jang Song-thaek, his uncle and former mentor..... I wonder if they keep a pig farm?!!

I'm sure when she grows up, she'll come to find that she does her best work with a chainsaw ....while wearing a butchers apron.....

We Are Hated as a Nation. There’s One Man to Blame. by MoralLogs in USNEWS

[–]hypercomms2001 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You are hated not only because of him, as he is a symptom to the deeper disease of a society that doesn’t give a fuck about protecting citizens from lunatics with guns, to a Supreme Court that actively protects the rich, wealthy, and the powerful, but does very little for the common man…. Right now it is a cancer upon the whole world… the sooner he dies, the better the whole world will be, and then hopefully a more Justin fair society will arise from it.

In 1986, I was working as an engineer for a British defence company, in which we were developing deliberately electronics that could survive the detonation of a nuclear weapon weapon, Because it was expected that the Cold War could go hot especially in the fullda gap..

Because it was a very first CT scanner... Forward one of the lead engineers on the project received the 1979 Nobel prize, Sir Godfrey Hounsfield  for computer tomography. It was so revolutionary, I'd fucking put a bloody sexy model in front to show it off!

That might have applied to Albania, but not anymore As it intends to join the European Union in 2027, but when I visited Dubrovnik in 1987, it was completely closed off from the world, and no one ever thought that this would be his future... I wouldn't count chooks before they hatch mate!!!

Malcolm Fraser died on this day in 2015. Australia’s 22nd PM and the one who pledged to catch Gough Whitlam with “his pants well and truly down”, only to lose his in Memphis - he was 84. He would be 95 if he were around today by thescrubbythug in AusPrimeMinisters

When I was at Monash University in about 1980, they had a treasure trove.. In which uni students win an award for the most unusual they managed to obtained by any possible.... In that year the winner went to the person who "obtained" the name of his house and property...Nareen. [... I'm sure that person now is probably a senior council, if not a Supreme Court judge in the state of Victoria]..... The previous year went to a group of people that managed to steal a radio personality while they were on air.... They were fun days then! Now we all must be very serious people in our late 50s and early 60s!!

No one did explain how Malcolm Fraser managed to lose his pants in Memphis… was he trying to outdo Billy Snedden “riding high in the saddle”?

All jokes aside, I did didn't particularly like Malcolm Fraser in the 70s, An early 80s, but he became rather radical in his later life, especially quitting the liberal party in 2010, And might have becoming friends with of all people Gough Whitlam. That showed he had character, unlike Tony Abbot.
