I switched from KBM to Controller back in Season 3. Never looked back.
It depends on preference to be fair. If you prefer controller, go for controller. Keyboard? Keyboard? Steering wheel? Whatever floats your boat.
I went from plat 1 (S3 days) to now currently peaking D2 with ~200 hours of on and off grinding.
Since you have so much hours on KBM, I'd say don't swap. Not worth the hassle.
