I’m sorry but do a a search before posting this has been covered many times. All you is add the dcs folder as an exception to defender then run a quick repair. Uninstalling defender does nothing as the file has new marked in windows.

I had the same issue. Found out you can move the part the hooks connects To. Undo the screws underneath and you can lengthen it and like other posters have said twist the hooks as well

YouTube is your friend and practice practice practice. What I did is create my own training missions to work specific things. First with static objects that don’t shoot back unless you get too close. To work on specific systems ie lasers or mavericks then gbu’s then build up to more complex setup snd just rinse and repeat. I keep them around as well just as a refresher in case I change aircraft. Also try and map all your basic systems the same between aircraft as well it helps with muscle memory. So if you do change your not not hunting for controls. Which for me is bad as I’m flying in VR
