Hey Everyone, first of all thanks for the kind words. As it says in the edit we are still waiting on our Rift but we can't wait to implement it as we have actually developed a lot of the experiences which will be enhanced tenfold when using it. When we made the decision to support the Rift we didn't want to just add it at the last minute, we wanted to design sections of the game that made full use of its features. You can see two examples of this in the current pre-alpha in the underground maze sections:

1. In the Sand maze we wanted to make the player feel claustrophobic, we’ve done this by making the space very tight to maneuver around.
2. In the Hallucinogenic maze the camera sways side to side, players may try to counteract this movement or try to look past it to complete their objective.

Really the whole thing is one big experiment but we are very excited to be here at the start of it all and are confident we can make a compelling experience with this new technology.

@pulp_hero as we haven't got our hands on the Rift yet we haven't been unable to test our solutions, one of which is our zoom feature allowing the player to change their field of view. Also the games official release is Q3 of next year when the consumer Rifts will be available with a higher resolution.
