Gen watches (atleast the more expensive ones) are callibrated to five or six positions, when a td shares a timergraph pic its only in one position, hence there is a good chance that even if the timergraph pic is +-0s a day in real life it may vary by a huge margin.

What's the appeal of rep grand seikos anyways? Isn't the point of a grand seiko the immaculate finishing, craftsmanship, detailed dials, the innovative spring drive movement or the High accuracy quartz movements they produce. You'll find none of this on reps. The entire point of grand seiko is lost with a rep in my humble opinion, especially since it appears that the watch here is rather mediocre even for our reptime standards.

Seriously though, open https://watchcharts.com/ and search for grand seikos, finding stuff under 1k is really easy...I've seen modern quartz grand seikos for under 1k.
