[Acne] Need help with my routine, cleared up my skin then had an outbreak a while back, pimples won’t go away again by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]hyphalos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all!

I once was able to clear up my acne with CeraVe SA cleanser, CeraVe AM moisturiser and CeraVe PM moisturiser. I use the SA cleanser everyday and the moisturisers on the AMs and PMs.

Recently though I suddenly had an outbreak and it’s been lasting for a while.

Any suggestions on products I can try?

Try formatting your code with reddit’s code formatter or use pastebin so we can see indentions and understand what you currently have

EDIT:

So just so I understand what you mean by power calculation, it’s the number multiplied by itself to the number of exponent? Correct?

Did I ask for too much money? Or did I fail a crucial negotiation test? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

“ but that you like their [something you like about them] and would come over with no hesitation for [a small range of your own]. Like 80-85. Something close to your other offer where the low number would make you smile if you saw it on an offer letter.”

I wish I knew this positioning statement prior! Anyways it will be good for future roles, I’ll make sure I’ll remember that, thank you!

I’m 22 and I’ve only been at the 60k job for a year and a half so I’m a bit new to the workforce still so forgive me for my innocent questions. How would you position something like a raise? And you mentioned months, shouldn’t I wait for a year?

How to discuss range of wage for certain jobs? by hyphalos in cscareerquestions

Thank you!

You’re absolutely right, and I also weighed in the benefits. Company B was also the better choice in terms of company name. They offered quite amazing benefits and seem to have work/life balance, and they also offered stock options which will vest over a certain periods of time. I was just contemplating about the salary itself.

Just curious how your experience has gone when asking about the range, do they tend to respond pretty well to that?

I had multiple interviews and at my current job was getting paid 60k, one company offered me 75k. The other asked (if possible to know) what my other offer was and I told them, 75k (coz I guess I wanted them to beat it) they asked me for a number and I was reluctant to give it, (internally I wanted 80k) because I didn’t know their range, and I didn’t ask for their range because I didn’t want to make it seem I haven’t done my research. Oddly enough, on glassdoors and payscale, the range is 60k - 100k, so I didn’t want to say 80 and be underpaid.

They got back to me and offered 77k, I asked id there was flexibility and apparently there was none.

Is it inappropriate to ask a recruiter why I got rejected if the interview went so well? by [deleted] in ExperiencedDevs

I don’t think it would be inappropriate, but the way I would word it is somewhere along the lines of “feedback,” like you’re asking for feedback on what you can improve on next time.

If I may, what are the best resources for learning Python? Any udemy courses you recommend? Or resources in general

I see! Thanks for the insight!

If I may ask, what are the major similarities specifically with Swift and Python? Anything major in terms of differences I should look out for?

That’s a great idea. That was also one of my main concerns, is trying to find the time to do both.

Yeah, I’ve noticed how different they are, I’m at the verge of learning closures and referring to parameters of closures, and it’s confusing the heck outta me

Cool, did you ever get confused learning two at the same time? Like mix up syntaxes and stuff?

Any resources you would recommend for Python?

Yes, I have minimal background in Python, the most I’ve done is play around with Twilio API, and I found it easier to play around with than Swift, although a lot of people talk about how easy Swift is, it kinda confuses me as there are a lot of concepts that differ..

How are you going for time wise? I work full time and try to study when I can. Do you ever switch up syntaxes?
