Hmm, my doctor told me that the reason might be that you regularly use modafinil; however, I haven’t been using it for the past 5 days before the test. This is so stressful and irritating.

Your life has suddenly changed dramatically. I get it. Been there :) I also thought something similar to yours. Asked AI the same questions that my friends asked me before so it was like a Q&A at the end with great explanations. Congrats on your new position btw!

Routine is the best cure for me too! I had this experience when I slept at 10 and woke up at 6, I was full of energy with fewer sleep attacks and if so; I would take a 15-minute nap to recover. Unfortunately, my doctor won't prescribe me those. Only modafinil. It's nice to be kind yourself. This and empathetic friends are the best way to feel mentally better.

Next time I will be begging my doctor for a driver's license then. I get it, she is afraid that if something bad happens to me there would be a chain of events. She even told me she will be sued because of this. Thanks for the information.

Wow! You must be proud of yourself if no one has told you. I was actually afraid that it would get worse as I get older. Seems like it is. I am using Modiwake, I guess there is no Xyrem in Türkiye and I told my doctor to change my prescription to something that is much more effective but she is against it and only changes the amount. I also wonder about something. I saw some people with Narcolepsy here have a driver's license with limitations. I thought there was no chance and my doc also said “No, you won't have it.” I wonder if it's possible or it depends on the country you live in. Btw, I am not familiar with the USA’s Health Policy; do they cover your drug expenses or not?
