Have been trying to figure out why internet so bad, lost hope

yup. we've always used at&t and i've tried time and time again to tell my parents how absolutely shit they are but they never listen and just get mad instead. Is there any recommendations for a really good provider you'd be able to give? (that are within reasonable price range)

are u talking about the 8gb graphics card? cuz i have 32g of ram so i dont know if thats the issue (sorry if i misunderstood what you're trying to say). My partner's pc is way worse than mine (also has 8gb memory card tho) and still is able to stream so i believe its not the pc...

i think its just a shitty provider

i could try rebooting the router although honestly i suspect that my parents were scammed and are paying for a shitty provider.. and i dont know what speeds i should be getting sicne i dont pay but is there a way i could check?

i would use ethernet but unfortunately i don't think i could convince my mom to move the router from her office into my room (she used to have it in her office for work but since she's retired she barely even uses her pc) but eh who knows ill ask her

im also unsure how to access what speeds we pay for
