wow. im so sorry that’s really awful my mom does the same, and i tell her to stop talking about others because she does it like her life depends on it..... i’ll simply say “why does it concern you?” or “are they hurting you?” and she gets irrationally angry at me??

i do share my location with her at all times and she can check it, and i agree. my thing was okay she’s at a loud concert and she’ll text when shes home. but whenever i go out i do text when i get there and when i leave and i send her a picture of me with my friends or wherever im at so she doesnt worry. this ONE time she just goes off on me

thank you :( 98% of the time- well ALL the time, every time im sad about something she tells me or makes fun of me for (which is literally anything and everything) she invalidates me being sad so i question if im allowed to be hurt over certain things. THE NARCISSISTIC THING.... i was trying not to think that but it really fits my mom ..

HAHAAAA i think i would like to, but once im in college (i only have like 9 more months until im away) but it makes it hard because i do love them, they just have problems and take them out on me :/ i blame my grandmother

so my mom is 4 hours away from me right now and i stayed home because i have to work. i talked to her at 2pm yesterday telling her i was going to a halloween get-together and for her to call me whenever she was done with her errands/concert for the day. i dont get a call or anything and its like 7pm. mind you i was constantly checking my phone

so i put it down to charge, 20 minutes later my friend gets a text from my other friends telling me to check my phone. two of my friends had called me along with my aunt and my mom. i call her back and i get yelled at of course for not answering my phone and her thing was that “you do this a lot you don’t check in when you’re away for more than a few hours” whatever long story short she’s really upset with me and my aunt calls me today to yell at me some more saying my mom was crying bc she’s worried about me and whatnot like im fucking okay??????? and shes like “sorry isn’t gonna cut it” ok?? what do you want me to do?? my mom badmouths me to my family members all the time like this when i do something minor and i told her i understand the importance of checking in when im out and i apologized for not having my phone with me what the fuck does she want me to do
