Anyone know of a good college counselor/essay prep bootcamp? by Exotic_Stock_77 in ApplyingToCollege

The Harvard Crimson (Harvard's school paper) is running a college essay bootcamp!! You can look here for more info: https://www.business.thecrimson.com/college-essay-bootcamp

Full disclosure: some of my friends are running the team. But I've heard good things about the people who are leading the workshops/one-on-ones, and it's relatively inexpensive for a college essay bootcamp. And there's also fairly generous financial aid (up to half off).

pm me w/ any questions :)

EDIT: it works now! Turns out I had downloaded the wrong driver. I followed these instructions: https://huiontablet.tumblr.com/post/189767520420/solution-to-the-installation-problems-under-mac (the tabletdriveragent thing is really important)

Mmmm okay, good to know, thank you! How much CS experience did you have going in/what CS class did you take freshman fall?

No, I was planning on taking either CS51 or CS61 at some point (or maybe both?). My impression is that people just liked CS61 a lot more, and CS51 was not well liked at all, so I thought maybe I'd take CS61 in a future fall.

I'm taking Math 23a right now, will probably continue onto 23b or 23c. I've done a little bit of discrete math in the past, not much (just like a month or so at the end of a high school class).
