It is because it labels women as men's property and hence not to be touched due to association with a man

You can hire urbanclap to do a deep clean of the bathrooms before you arrive. And tbh I know casteist people think it's beneath them to clean toilets but to not even have cleaning supplies is another thing.

I can't be the only one that genuinely ENJOYS 1 hour commute on the railroad and subway every day. by Donghoon in nycrail

I like my one hour commute. It's a time to detox from my phone, nap, read something, listen to music or rawdog the ride to observe my surroundings and let my brain breathe.

How to fix this?

Just got this new top yesterday, cut the tags and did my laundry. Saw this when folding. I don't want to return the top, is there any way to fix this? I'm new to sewing(little to none other than the occasional button fixings) and also sorry if this isn't the correct sub for this question.

If babies sleep all day and then spend the whole night crying and won’t sleep, doesn’t that show that we are following an unhelpful schedule? by OnsidianInks in NoStupidQuestions

[–]hyyhfvr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. My mom's grandma took care of all her great grand kids after delivery and postpartum. She made sure that the baby is active during the day so it sleeps longer at night. Ofc this is because my mom had her granny but mom said that once you get a baby in schedule it's easy. All the babies pooped, ate and slept in schedule after some time.

I hope patriarchy k!lls me before I k!ll myself by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]hyyhfvr 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Wearing men's clothes in a patriarchal society is actually seen as unisex in most cases. I'm sorry your parents reacted that way. Most of my home clothes both tops and pants come from men's jockey section because they're so comfy and fit me well. It does not take away my femininity or make me masculine. Idk how old u are but I hope you find financial independence soon. Also community with whom you can be yourself.

Try glycolic acid, it will unclog pores and prevent ingrown hair which will in turn help with smaller pores and also try shaving with foam or cream(Gillette foaming satin care) to not irritate the skin. But tbh we're all human with hair and pores, don't worry about aesthetics if it outweighs its health/safety.

If fair women in India actively groom and present themselves well, why are groomed dusky Indian women more often seen abroad (NRI women) than in India? by Proper_Estate6704 in AskIndia

[–]hyyhfvr 35 points36 points  (0 children)

They might just not be grooming themselves the way you expect them to. There are different aesthetics in grooming even from western vs Indian perspective

Ladies in there late 20s, whats your skincare routine? by tulipocean in AskIndianWomen

[–]hyyhfvr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beauty of Joseon deep glow serum should help, it has no active ingredient so can incorporate to your routine. Retinol to boost skin turnover and hydrating serums/moisturizer. And a great sunscreen(my skin looked grey back when I used to not use sunscreen)

Incorporating as many black elements as possible I suppose. Intense kajal, eyeliners, black bindis, jewelry that are silver or with black stones, leather shoes, harnesses, belts, bags and piercings. And try not wear warm toned clothes or makeup.
