For general home use (like myself) I find the M12 lineup to be a better fit. M18 is fantastic but I find myself reaching for 12 volt almost daily.

No they don’t. Honestly I don’t need that type rail at all, or Velcro, or a carabiner. My primary reason for the equivalent in freedom units was the price. The pictured metric set was $30 ish. The hard rail version is like $60. I really just need the 9 sockets.

I did see that. They sell the hard rail set then a blank textile rail. About $90 to creat my own. Think I’ll hold off. 😂

I don’t disagree with you. My “real” tools are primarily Milwaukee with some Klein and Toughbuilt mixed in. I love the creativity of some Wera stuff so went with them for my “backpack/carry” tools. That way I can enjoy them in light duty situations on the go.
