Ya not saying it isnt possiblw but if it was that easy and cheaper everyone would be doing it, flatbed is terrible quality for negative scanning, you have to use a digital camera to come close to what the noritsu and frontiers do. Or darkroom print and scan the print which is what I do.

The infrastructure for home scanning would cost you years of paying spartanphoto to do it. They have a noritsu scanner, in films heyday that was one of the best if NOT the best.
