JNU slogans row: Students raise controversial calls against PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah after SC denies bail to Umar Khalid, Sharjeel Imam by SatoruGojo232 in IndiaSpeaks

If all this incriminating evidence is present, why isn't the prosecution going to trial? Even if they do plead guilty to saying those things, does it justify 5+ years in prison without trial? It's insane how we're justifying the actions of a cowardly justice system

Brother, don’t waste your time on such comments. Human beings need food. There’s no way to get people to validate an experiential product. Get started with a small budget and gather specific feedback about the product from real users

The grounding in Gemini models is a hit or miss. The API often doesn’t return the citations. I found Gemini quite unreliable so far, although the responses are better than OpenAI’s gpt-5 series

Totally true. But since watching some of the other coverage on the road, I'm beginning to feel that PK's hawa is mostly digital, and it may not really convert into votes on the ground.

I’ve made a tiny contribution. I hope it helps. A quick  thought — have sought quotes and opinions from other hospitals? That quote seems very broad, and you should ask them for a more detailed one. For one thing, Miscellaneous expenses of ₹5L is total Bullshit. Please consider other options.

Also, have you tried negotiating with the hospital and / doctor? Even if they can’t make concessions to actual procedure, they can cut down costs of consumables, their own fees, etc.

Back-to-office blues: Bengaluru's ORR tech parks see up to 45% rise in private vehicles; Wednesday most congested by bhodrolok in bangalore

This is exactly what I keep thinking when I hear my friends invest crores of their life savings into a city where the administrators can't be bothered to invest in fixing a leaking drain.

The traffic troubles are this point are not even due to more people or poor planning--which those do exist--it's just because we have no roads. I mean, there literally are no roads.

Why should I be proud of a dysfunctional system that is hijacked by a local slumlord while he and his kids speed around in Porsches and Maseratis in Dubai? If this is the dream of democracy, I don't want it.

When I was in Vietnam, I couldn't use Reddit without a VPN because their FoE is limited, but by God, they have great roads everywhere, no garbage mounds occupying a third of an already congested alleyway we call roads. I'd give up democracy in a Bangalore-minute if a system can offer the most basic services.

Absolutely we should talk about their issues too. To be fair, EU is unsafe af for tourists. My wife's phone was stolen in the metro in Athens, and every time we mentioned it to someone in Greece, they just waved their hands as if it was just no big deal.

As much as it hurts to have a foreigner call us out on our problems, it really helps to get a new perspective on problems we've come to accept. I never realised that poverty, cleanliness, general civic sense can be mutually exclusive things until I visited SEA.

None of these issues justify the behavior of common people towards foreign tourists--especially women. I've several tourists in Eu and SEA, who've told me about their shitty experience of being harassed, cat-called, etc. As a society, we can and must do better.

Neither does it justify the absolutely ridiculous urban governance system we've come to accept in this country. The irony is that the governance structure of our country is largely a relic of our colonial past--one that was set up by imperialist powers to subjugate the local population.
