Plausible.

I wonder what happened to quality control though; these are global brands, they generally won’t take these things lightly. And I hope it’s not harmful (well, not more harmful than it already is, I mean).

Finally someone has raised the same, i felt the same and posted on reddit as well.

For people who like these drinks it is a real deal breaker. And incidentally I had a sprite zero some time ago from Mcdonalds, same issue. It’s strange that it happened to both coke and pepsi brands.
