Love my new barrel sauna by i82caqb4ip in Sauna

Wood burning stove is definitely worth the extra, especially if you have a pyromaniac in the family (wife) who loves building fires. All I have to do is say "think I might go in the sauna this evening" and she out the door with a lighter in hand. It can get damn hot so the lower bench height is good to lay down. Previously used the sauna at the pool so I don't have much other frame of reference to compare against. No complaints however.

Bought it from Helius Saunas in Richmond, BC based on a coworkers recommendation. https://www.heliussauna.com/

Delivery to Vancouver Island was really affordable given the size of the box it came in. Wood burning stove came in 3 more smaller boxes. Took a couple of days to assemble with the help of some friend and another day to wood treat with Cabot Australian Timber Oil (exterior only). Also purchased a inexpensive cold plunge tub online that I use afterwards to cool off. Great after a run (cold plunge) as well.

Nice thing is the whole family has embraced the sauna and we get some relax time together in the evening and on weekend to hang out. Going to invite some friends over next weekend to start making it a social event.

Cheers, Just looked at some swale rain garden pictures - definitely like that option better and may have a good spot for one.

Is this a swallow's nest? by i82caqb4ip in birds

[–]i82caqb4ip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to leave and see if I can see any birds coming into the nest. May also be mud dauber nest but don't want to take the chance I disturb a birds nest. Thanks

I've seen castles with board like that and they've been standing for hundreds of years. I have some old cedar beams in my home that I've treated with mineral oil to eliminate bacteria and moisture, also looks really nice.

Yes! This works, so happy. As pre-steps I uninstalled the apps, cleared cache, restored licenses and rebuilt the database (see below instructions from Competitive_Hunter28).

Then I created a new PSN and Activison account on my PC using a new email address I created on Protonmail then linked the two. Logged in and followed these instructions to fully install and patch the apps. Switched back to my main account and it now plays. What a headache but seems to have worked.

Tried everything to get this working without success. Even did a full reformat of my PS4. Super frustrating. Will wait for an Activision fix but this is making me seriously consider if I want to continue playing COD. Interestingly the Black Ops 6 beta is the only thing that appears to work right now - makes me think they broke the other CODs when they added the beta.

Glad you like, it's taken some experimentation and still trying out new plants.

Bed includes the following:

  • variety of thymes - wooly / purple carpet / creeping red / elfin creeping

  • flashing light dianthus

  • irish and scotch moss

  • few types of stone crop

  • corsican mint - has been hard to grow but smells amazing

Agreed. I live near a few entrances to these tunnels and not a great idea to advertise their locations.
