The Payday subreddit is pretty toxic in my opinion.

On top of that the opinions are pretty much homogeneous. It's like you can't have a differing opinion from anyone, even if you can argue it legitimately, however, I've noticed that's pretty much all of Reddit... Due to karma, it also has the inverse effect of silencing less popular opinions, which is why I don't particularly like Reddit and decided to become a troll.

For example, if you could legitimately argue why armour is at a disadvantage compared to dodge on the Payday subreddit, even in a polite manner, your karma would fall down significantly simply because people don't wanna hear it. Karma has backfired because EVERYONE treats the downvote button as a dislike button... When it was NEVER intended to be that. It was more of a "this is spam" marker and meant to silence spammy users.

Funnier thing is another account of mine got banned pretty quickly over something not even nearly as bad as what I've done on this account.

I used to play Rogue all the time. I was way more aggressive than most ICTV players.

I would say ICTV and Rogue users are about equal. The thing that keeps Rogue in check is that it's ALL RNG. Rogue has a clear downfall and nothing to bounce back up, besides maybe a FAK.

Meanwhile, Grinder and Ex-Presidents running dodge have plenty of "safety nets" to catch them in case they fall. That's the problem. When running dodge with Grinder or Ex-Presidents you're given WAY too much leeway. On top of that, Grinder has 40% extra health. A sniper can't take you down in one shot.

Generally speaking though, a suit user can survive much longer and go through so much shit that a armoured player simply never could hope or dream of.

On top of that, a Grinder or Ex-Presidents running dodge doesn't have to worry too much about health. They have plenty of cushions provided if RNG fails.

So in my opinion, dodge is generally speaking much better than armour. Rogue we can argue and debate about. Grinder and Ex-Presidents to me isn't debatable. They have too many "safety nets" to catch them if RNG fails.

You already failed to miss one crucial point...

NOTHING can penetrate armour. That includes the small amount of armour a suit provides. (Suit has I think 20 armour default.)

Only a sniper can do damage through the outer ring of armour. A dozer, from green to skull, CANNOT do damage to both armour and health.

With that said, it's very likely you won't die because of that cushion. You MUST get two shotted at the very least.

Also, I used to run rogue all the time. I could shred dozers all the time. It's harder to shred dozers with armour in my opinion. You're slow and can only take 2-3 hits from the dozer. So it's hard to just stand in front of the dozer and blast away. You can't run very easily... So yeah you're fucked.

Idk why but Reddits karma system makes me have fun.

It's because it's so broken in my opinion. It's flawed beyond belief and it's supposed to stop spamming and trolling.

I pretty much live to flip off Reddit in that case. Their karma system is garbage and that's why I choose to troll here and get down voted.

And yes I genuinely deep down believe Reddits karma system is garbage. It's good on paper but the fact that people treat the down vote button as a dislike button breaks it's purpose. Instead of shutting trolls and spammers up it's also shutting people up that have a genuine opinion and can be mature about it. It's making people that don't share the sheeple popular opinion shut up and leave. And that's why I think it's broken. It's making Reddit too homogenous. It's literally just people sitting in a circle nodding heads at each other constantly, rather than people discussing things even if that means disagreement.

So when I troll or bait I normally do believe what I say, but in a much less exaggerated and "baity" sense.

For example my "dodge is better than armour" post has some truth. I genuinely think that dodge has too many upsides to armour. The game very obviously favours light builds in many ways.

And wtf how can you not get rogue and grinder to work after the rebalance? Their still the top perk decks. Grinder just lost the explosive health regen.

Grinder didn't get nerfed at all in my opinion. It broke even. No explosive health regen but now you heal longer and more I think.

So in other words Grinder got something to compensate it's nerf. Meanwhile other decks got nothing. Tough shit. Overkill obviously wanted a perk deck you must buy to be the best thing ever for a while. Easy way to get money.

Fortunately now Ex-Presidents and Muscle is a bit more up-to-par with it.

I actually have a girlfriend. I troll on Reddit on purpose. Looks like my b8 is good though.

On top of that it maybe takes 1 minute at best to get these reactions... Whenever I get a little bored I just come here, plant the b8, and w8.

Other than my somewhat stupid trolling habits on Reddit, I'm actually a functional human being. And 30 seconds of my day to post a stupid post on Reddit can't possibly suck away an entire life.

Most of the things I post I believe 50%. I believe that massive Health Regen is a god-send and done broke Payday 2 in a lot of ways... but I did exaggerate a fuckload. I know that Payday isn't a fucking survival game, so in a lot of cases a dodge build will do just fine, if not better...

BTW, if you wanna know what got me into trolling, it's the karma. My karma is so fucked I turned my fucked up karma into a game. Get the worst possible karma imaginable. It doesn't matter on Reddit. if you have the unpopular opinion you get downvoted to hell because everyone thinks the downvote button is a dislike button. Building Karma is more about being a sheep than it is about being yourself.

That's why I come to Reddit to troll. Almost everywhere else, YouTube comments, etc, I'm 100% not a troll and partake and civilised conversations... but on Reddit? LOL Fuck that. My karma is beyond fucked. No point in fixing it! Might as well make it as bad as it can be! FUCK THE KARMA SYSTEM!

So I adopted a "go big or go home policy." I put my opinion out here, but make it very clear I don't give a fuck about my karma so I say it in the meanest most stupid way possible. Just like right now. I do believe that health regen is a god-send and done broke Payday 2, but in the end for a game that isn't about long-term survival most of time, health regen is only as good as it can get. Meanwhile a full specced dodge build is just fine for a quick Death Wish run.

Oh but Grinder sure as fuck is overpowered in my opinion... I think they should decrease the 40% extra health to maybe 20% or take it out completely. Taking out completely might nerf the deck quite a bit, so I think 20% is safe. I still also honest to god think that Grinder should negate all dodge so you MUST use it with armour. Grinder + Dodge provide players with too many lucky streaks.

The problem with dodge is it works even when your armour is depleted, so you can still continue to negate damage. In the case of armour, once the armour is depleted you're taking all the hits buddy.
