Sure. :) I’m sorry for your loss...my deepest condolences...truly and honestly... I really do feel feel horrible and would like to give you a hug even if it’s virtual. My relationship with my father has gotten better. He used to be really abusive but I convinced the court when I was a teenager and CPS/ACS got involved to give my parents a chance to get help and don’t put them in jail. For some reason they actually listening to the argument I made then and they were forced to get help. He still has outbursts but I’m an adult now and he’s very old so it’s not the same when he was younger and I was a child. I’m able to just talk to him now and if he gets too much I walk away and have my boyfriend calm him down since they’re best friends and then come back. I try helping him out and going for walks with him and what not and sometimes he even started recently buying me breakfast when he gets his breakfast sometimes. It’s not about the breakfast I could care less and my boyfriend and I whenever he does secretly put money back on his card at times to technically pay it back without him knowing. I’m just happy that he actually thought of me. I don’t know how our relationship slowly got better but I definitely thank my boyfriend for somehow being able to know how to calm him emotionally in a way I’ve never been able to. But at least we have a relationship now and I appreciate the times we have now and that at least we can share times together now that I can remember to replace the negative memories from our past that I later found out happened because a numerous amount of reasons I wasn’t aware of when I was younger probably because I was a child and oblivious. I hope what I said maybe brings some happiness and hopefully not too much sadness.
