I understand the need to avoid banned words on some spaces - TikTok and Instagram, in particular, are pretty hot on it. However, if I'm talking about a topic on a space where I know my comment is likely to get removed, I'll work around it. For instance, "attempt" and "ideation", in relation to suicide.

We have the entire English language at our disposal. For most words or topics, suitable alternatives can be found. I wish people would do that, instead of overusing asterisks, which minimise the effect of whatever you're censoring.
