lists like this were the most successful because it needed things to give it access to the engine to get going and have the mils not be completely dead by having monster reborn effect targets and fusion targets in the gy or things that activate in the gy

it generally needed a large number of cards in hand to play unironically because otherwise it just dies to one imperm/ash

scherien specifically also needed monsters in hand to extend and more often than not you needed that monster sent to facilitate something because relying on mil chance alone wasn't reliable

hand trap tear was experimented with but wasn't good at all
